The Treatlife Smart Switch comes with labels, a wall plate, and necessary accessories for easy installation. You can follow the clear instructions to complete the wiring and pairing. It connects directly to your home's Wi-Fi network, without the need for a hub or extra equipment. The faceplate measures 5.07 (L) x 3.34 (W) inches, and the switch box is 2.75 (L) x 1.69 (W) x 1.61 (D) inches. The wire length can be trimmed to fit the junction box, which must have a neutral wire, usually present in houses built since the mid-1980s.

After wiring, ensure the wire cap is securely tightened. The switch is compatible only with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, not 5GHz, and network pairing must be completed within 3 minutes; re-pairing is required beyond this time. The switch controls on/off function only and cannot adjust light brightness, with a maximum light power of 1250W. A ground wire is recommended and may be required in some regions.
